This scarce book is presented in startlingly good condition for a children's book and appears unread.  The delightful colour illustrations retain a freshness and vibrancy, undiluted after close to sixty years. There is just a little discolouration to the rear laminate. There are no marks or inscriptions at all.

This is the later style of softcover titles that Blackie produced - the rear cover shows other books available in the series.

The book is reproduced from the original 1964 printing and should not be confused with later 1970s/80s/90s... editions.
