The eleventh to fifteenth novels of famous thriller writer Maclean and the last of his truly great stories.  From the early 1970s McLean concentrated on writing film and television screenplays which were not as successful as his previous novels.  His later books were of poorer quality, some of which were ghosted. The better and earlier novels presented here are all in original UK first impression with associated dust jackets. None are price-clipped (and the prices tell an interesting side story of the UK's conversion to decimalisation in 1971).  The books are in varying condition but all books and dust jackets are at least very good.

Force 10 from Navarone (1968): book and jacket both fine; very slight yellowing to DJ front top.
Puppet on a Chain (1969): book very good, a little foxing to top edge. A little loss to jacket spine top and lesser so to bottom. Creases to jacket flaps.
Caravan to Vaccares (1970): book and jacket fine, just a little discolouration to text block edges; marginal wear to jacket extremities
Bear Island (1971): book and jacket fine. Small number stamp to rear paste down.
The Way to Dusty Death (1973): book very good; ex Libris sticker to front paste down; jacket offsetting to both pastedowns; some foxing to text block edges. Jacket fine.
