Here, Williams extends into fiction his ideas on community, culture and society.  This is a nice copy of this seminal text and forms the first in the "Welsh" trilogy.  This first edition was published in 1960 and its popularity has not waned ever since. There is a little discolouration to top and front edges. The book has a slight lean to front RHS, appears correctable. Spine good and tight with no loose or missing pages. No marks, inscriptions or foxing; looks and smells very clean for age. Unclipped jacket very clean, protected, with some wear only to extreme tops of inside flaps.
