Very nice example of Barstow's breakthrough novel - and which became the standard-bearer for a lot that followed. Very good photograph of author to rear. There is a little wear to text block edges and some slight tanning to page edges.  Some wear to endpapers. In the jacket, some damage to spine top and top edge (hardly visible), a little yellowing and fading, otherwise in very good condition.
