Overall a very good book in a good  jacket. This is book number 16 in the Just William series in the correct first cheap edition (price 2/6), noted on the cover as "Second Edition", with the publisher's red boards generally clean with black lettering, some discolouration to spine tips. The front and rear endpapers have offset marks from the jacket flaps. There is foxing to the text block edges not intruding to pages.  The jacket is good with loss to the front and cracking and nibbling to the spine extremities, which suffer small losses.  The rear panel is a little grubby.
