All the Tea in China
Publisher: London: Secker & Warburg, 1978
Edition: 1st UK , 1st impression
Binding: Hardback
Posited as a prequel to the Mortdecai novels, examining the subject's forebears, who seem to come off as unlikely crosses between characters from P.G. Wodehouse and Ian Fleming. All Bonfiglioli's novels have achieved cult status for their wit, erudition and general brio. This is a very rare 1978 first edition with no marks or impressions, a corrected publisher's copyright sticker, not price-clipped. There is a little spotting to the text block edges and some creasing to some page edges. The jacket is intact with only a little bumping to the spine extremities and the rear sunned or otherwise discoloured.
