Excellent compendium of legendary mountaineer Shipton's expedition books - Nanda Devi/Blank on the Map/Upon that Mountain/Moutains of Tartary/Mount Everest Reconnaissance Expedition 1951/Land of Tempest.  With an introduction by Jim Perrin. Book is in in good condition with no marks or inscriptions. There is spotting/foxing to the text block edges but not intruding to pages too much. With numerous photographs. Jacket is  good, but worn and a little loose although no losses, now covered in removable wrapper.
