A later printing and abridged edition, but nonetheless attractive - and scarce. This is a fine example, with the publisher's red boards and black lettering clean and bright. Apart from a neat owner's inscription, there are no marks to the text and pages - which are very clean and open tightly.  No foxing except a few isolated examples to end papers. The jacket is fine, unclipped, and very attractively illustrated by Hilda McGavin.
