Firs edition, first printing of this 1927 early William volume.  the book is generally good with a gift inscription to front end paper, residue of some stamps to half-time page and the rear end paper appears to have been excised. There is slight foxing to end papers but not intruding to pages which remain lean with no markings or inscriptions. Binding is a little loose but no pages affected.
