Two examples of science-fiction from Douglas Duff, who normally concentrated on maritime adventure. These books are rare in the dust jackets, which present with some losses. The books have no marks or inscriptions apart from a price mark and a single owner's name inscription. There is some tanning to The Man from Outer Space. 

Douglas Duff was a merchant seaman, soldier, colonial policeman, naval reservist and author. He attracted some controversy for his role as a Black and Tan and his then transfer to the notorious Palestinian Police Force.  He later became a minor television personality as a panellist on the popular British quiz show "What's My Line?"
