A selection of sea-based adventures (11 books)from the renowned children's adventure writer Douglas Duff. All are in at least good condition with salient issues noted below. All have original and attractive colour dust jackets, some with losses but all intact with overall very good presentation. Douglas Duff was a merchant seaman, soldier, colonial policeman, naval reservist and author. He attracted some controversy for his role as a Black and Tan and his then transfer to the notorious Palestinian Police Force. He later became a minor television personality as a panellist on the popular British quiz show "What's My Line?"
