Fine book with attractive jacket and colour frontispiece, in the 'Lost World' adventure genre perennially popular. No foxing and the book is very clean in all aspects, apart from some jacket offset to the end papers. Binding is firm, although frontispiece is slightly loose. Jacket is price-clipped but otherwise intact, with a little rubbing to spine top and rear a little grubby.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children. We'll have to make sure the cover stays on and it's held with very gentle hands!!
