The eighth adventure in the Famous Five series. This is a first edition book in its original dust jacket.  The book is fine with some spotting only to the text block edges. The original red boards are very good with a little spotting to front. The book and pages are free from any marking or inscription being quite clean and fresh inside. The (now protected) original jacket has some loss to the spine and wear to the front edge with expected shelf but evidently limited handling wear. The jacket shows the correct 6/- price.
