The seventeenth adventure in the Famous Five series. This is a first edition book in its original dust jacket.  The book is fine with only some very light spotting to the text block edges, not intruding to pages. The original and embossed red boards are fine and the binding is tight. The book and pages are free from any marking or inscription, being quite clean and fresh inside. The (now protected) original jacket has small losses to the extremities and only some expected shelf and evidently limited handling wear. The jacket has the correct 7s 6d price present.
