Attractive first printing of this Biggles story, in attractive dust jacket with six full page mono illustrations. The book is fine with just a little spotting to text block edges but very clean and tight inside. There are no marks or inscriptions apart from a presentation plate to the front paste down. The unclipped jacket shows the correct price of 8/6 has a little wear to the jacket's spine extremities, especially the top, but losses.
