Attractive first printing of this Biggles story, in illustrated dust jacket. The book is very good with just a little spotting to text block edges but very clean and tight inside. There are no marks or inscriptions. The clipped jacket has a little wear to the jacket's spine extremities, top and bottom edges, with minor losses.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children. We'll have to make sure the cover stays on and it's held with very gentle hands!!
