Attractive first printing of this Biggles story, in attractive dust jacket and colour frontispiece. The book is fine with just a little spotting and dustiness to text block edges but very clean and tight inside. There are no marks or inscriptions. The unclipped jacket shows a correct original price of 6/- There is a little wear to the jacket's spine extremities with minor losses and spine is sunned.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children. We'll have to make sure the cover stays on and it's held with very gentle hands!!
