Attractive first printing of this Biggles story, in nicely illustrated dust jacket and colour frontispiece. The book is fine with just a little dustiness to text block edges but very clean and tight inside. There are no marks or inscriptions except for old tape transfer marks to end papers. The unclipped jacket shows a correct original price of 7/6. There is a wear to the jacket's spine extremities with losses to spine top and bottom.
