Jack of the Circus is Fine with only slight spotting to text block edges and a Fine jacket. Jack's the Lad is similarly fine to both book and jacket. A presentable and well-preserved pair of vintage books from Richards, author also of the Billy Bunter and Tom Merry series, the latter sometimes under pseudonym.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children. We'll have to make sure the cover stays on and it's held with very gentle hands!!
