Something to Answer For
Publisher: London: Faber, 1968
Edition: 1st UK, 1st impression
Binding: Hardback
Notable as the first winner of the then Booker Prize in 1969 and often regarded as rather baffling, mainly because of the dream-like and/or drunken state of the most unreliable narrator. This very clean example is fine with no marks, inscriptions or foxing. It has been well looked-after. The unclipped jacket is very good, has some minor wear to the spine extremities and some handling wear to the rear panel .
