Overall a fine book in a very good  jacket. This is book number 35 in the Just William series in the correct first edition state with the publisher's very good green boards and bright gilt lettering including a motif of William to the spine. No marks or inscriptions and very clean inside, excepting some old tape offset to the endpapers (two small occurrences). There is no foxing. The jacket is very good with only some slight cracking and nibbling to the spine extremities and top and bottom edges.
