Overall a very good book in a very good  jacket. This is book number 28 in the Just William series in the correct first edition state with the publisher's very good green boards and gilt lettering including a motif of William to the spine. A gift inscription to the front end paper. No other marks or inscriptions and very clean inside. There is no foxing; top edge retains an attractive blue tint. The jacket is very good with only some slight cracking and nibbling to the spine extremities and top and bottom edges..
