This is a fine copy of the rather scarce first-state edition of this book, which was withdrawn shortly after publication, for character 'Käthe Gutner' (as named in this book) to be replaced by 'Karin Foster', along with other amendments. This book hardly appears read and is in superb condition. Please note this is not a children's book, unlike much of Adams' other work, and deals with mature themes.
