The eight of the adventures of the Swallows and Amazons crew.  The 1st printing book is fine with a previous owner's inscription to the front end paper, which is itself a little loose. No other marks or inscriptions. The text block edges are a little grubby. End papers very bright and attractive. The otherwise fine, but price clipped jacket is not contemporaneous to the book given the publisher's list to the rear, but is in all other respects identical to that of the first printing.
