Unjacketed first edition of the third in Ransome's Swallows and Amazons series. This book is in overall very good condition with no marks or inscriptions to the pages or the attractive end papers. The text block edges are a little discoloured with a small stain to the front edge, intruding slightly to pages 101-198. The boards are generally clean although the spine top a little fragile. The book opens a little loosely with with the half-title page coming away somewhat.
