Flat-signed without dedication by the author to the title page. One of Atwood's key works and now well-known through the Netflix mini-series. A beautifully written, mesmerising journey through time, all focussed on the did she/didn't she question of whether the young Grace killed her employer. Stands many re-readings, just for the beauty of the expression and the absolute intelligence of the storytelling.

The book is very good overall although the rear endpaper has been removed. The top edge has some tanning. The very good jacket has some loss to the spine top and spine is sunned.
