Very scarce example of this lavishly illustrated and coloured children's story book from 1945. This is in fine condition with no major faults. There is a little bumping to the edges from shelf and handling wear. The white borders to the covers are a little grubby.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children. We'll have to make sure the cover stays on and it's held with very gentle hands!!
