A Highland quest for a chalice hidden after the battle of Culloden: a splendid children's detective-mystery story set in Scotland. Rare. The first book is very good with endpapers showing dust jacket offsetting and there is sunning to spine top and bottom. Jacket is very good with nibbles to spine extremities. The second book is good to fair, with no jacket, sunned boards and slightly loose binding but is very clean inside with only a school ex-libris sticker to the front paste-down. Very scarce in this dual combination.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children. We'll have to make sure the cover stays on and it's held with very gentle hands!!
