Very good example of forgotten classics (if that is not an oxymoron) from Allum, this series defined Allum's work. The 'Gate' book has a school prize-giving sticker to the front end paper and is thus price-clipped. There is some spotting to the front edge. The top edge retains its pleasant red tint and the book is otherwise very clean and tidy. Hits Out also has the red tint and is very clean inside. There is a little grubbiness to the front edge. Jacket is price-clipped.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children.
