Undated but known to be 1955. Extremely rare with this dust jacket in very good condition. The book is near fine with only slight foxing to the front edge. No marks or inscriptions and opens tightly. Text and illustrations are clean and fresh. Jacket is very good with some staining to rear, imperceptible to front and now covered.

...My Dad was absolutely delighted with it. He said the condition was "vintage" and it was absolutely everything he remembered it to be. I don't think I've ever seen my Dad as happy with something as he was with this. It is now going to be passed down through generations, starting with me and my children.
