The copyright information just gives 1947 but this is a later edition, probably c.1968 given the publisher's advertising to rear. It is nonetheless a rare and interesting true US edition, and which was not re-published later because of concerns about some racial stereotyping within. A good collector's item. There are no marks, inscriptions or tears to pages. Colours remain fresh and pages clean. Cover (unjacketed) has some bumping to all extremities caused by general handling and shelf wear.
