Undated but almost certainly 1930s reprint of the original 1914 edition of this first book in the Penrod trilogy, known principally for its possible influence on Richmal Crompton's Just William series of books. This book has no markings or inscription, retains the publisher's clean and bright red boards with black lettering, and has a good jacket only slightly grubby to rear.
