Scarce set of compendium volumes produced by Blackie between 1970 and 1973 in a distinctive cover style, very different to what had preceded and what followed, and which was short-lived.  This series may have been destined for export given the rather European style of cover typography and the unusual spelling variant of "Hullo". The books each contain three stories which had been published individually between 1960 and 1971.  The books are, overall, in good condition and have faults and wear as described. However, they are remarkable for not suffering tears (except one), marks or stains to the pages at all.

Hullo Topsy and Tim, 1971: Topsy and Tim at the Zoo; Topsy and Tim at the Seaside; Topsy and Tim’s Thursday Book. Very good. Previous owner’s gift inscription to front paste down. Some foxing to front edge.

Topsy and Tim’s Ups and Downs, 1973: Topsy and Tom’s Birthday Party; Topsy and Tim Go to Hospital; Topsy and Tim Go Pony-Trekking. Fair. Some spine missing, foxing to front endpapers, book a little loose.

Happy Days with Topsy and Tim, 1971: Topsy and Tim’s Snowy Day; Topsy and Tim Go on Holiday; Topsy and Tim’s Wednesday Book. Very good. Some tanning to text block edges and front endpaper.

 Topsy and Tim and their Friends, 1971: Topsy and Tim’s Bonfire Night; Topsy and Tim at School; Topsy and Tim’s Foggy Day. Good. Small tear to top RH corner of half-title page, binding a little loose, some tanning to front paste-down and end paper/half title page.

Safety First with Topsy and Tim, 1973: Topsy and Tim Go Safely; Topsy and Tim Take No Risks. Unbelievably, the Health & Safety police got to the twins by the end of 1960s so there would be no more clambering around building sites. Very good. Binding a little loose; a little foxing to front end paper; a little staining to rear laminate board.
